Approximately 75 cars will be accepted. A waitlist will be established for entry submittals beyond that number.

The Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000 is fortunate to have the involvement of many dedicated people and organizations, and in no area is that dedication more apparent than when mechanical assistance is needed. We travel with at least 4 professional mechanics and three to four tow drivers with flatbeds. Our title sponsor, Bell Lexus North Scottsdale, generously donates new Lexus’ for use when your car just will not be able to finish the rally and our professional tow drivers with flatbed carriers are on-hand to assist with the transportation of not-so-willing cars.

Although we provide mechanical assistance on the road, a properly prepared vehicle is the responsibility of the driver. All accepted cars will be required to undergo a vehicle safety inspection prior to arrival. A certified mechanic is required to inspect your vehicle and sign-off that it is in rally ready condition.

No need to pack lightly. We travel with a UHaul Luggage Truck (generously donated!) and 2 luggage handlers so all your luggage needs will be serviced. Drop your bags off in the morning and they will be waiting for you when you arrive.

The entry fee for the 2025 Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000 is $11,250 and includes all meals and double occupancy lodging for the driver and co-driver starting from the hotel stay Saturday evening through Wednesday evening.

Additional Room (Single Room Supplement) – $4,000

Single Crew Package (one person, one room) – $7,000

Double Crew Package (two people, one room) – $9,000

All crew members must be certified mechanics.

The eligibility year for acceptance is up to and including 1973 model year; sports, racing and grand touring. Cars after that date of manufacture will be considered on a case by case basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Clones, reproductions, tributes, and recreations are NOT eligible for participation on the Copperstate 1000.

We encourage you to apply with multiple vehicles to increase your chances of acceptance.

No one under the age of 18 may participate in the Copperstate 1000. Drivers, Co-Drivers, and all Crew members must be over 18.

The deadline for submitting an application is January 10th. Notification of acceptance will be the week of Jan. 20th. At this time, you will receive information on acceptance timeline, payments and our cancellation policy.

A limited number of single room supplements are available for those needing two rooms. All additional room requests must be received at the time of application submittal. Availability of additional rooms may be limited. Copperstate cannot guarantee additional room availability if the request is made after your application has been accepted.

Anyone who accompanies an entrant in a separate vehicle, FOR ANY REASON (mechanical assistance, towing assistance), is considered a crew member. All crew members must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Copperstate. Crew packages will be strictly limited and will be reviewed prior to acceptance. We reserve the right to limit the number of crew and support vehicles. In addition we reserve the right to expel any entrant failing to formally register a crew member. Copperstate cannot guarantee room availability for your Crew if the request is made after your application has been accepted. In some cases Crews may have to stay at an offsite hotel. Crew members typically are certified mechanics.
